Joe Calzaghe vs Roy Jones Fight Odds
Joe Calzaghe (45-0-32 KO’s) vs. Roy Jones (52-4-38 KO’s) Fight Odds: Undefeated Light Heavyweight sensation, Joe Calzaghe puts his perfect record on the line against the man formerly known as the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world, Roy Jones Jr. “Worlds Collide” Saturday November 8th live from Madison Square Garden in New York City, beginning at 9 PM ET (6 PM PT) on Pay-Per-View. Oddsmaking Fighting Experts at BodogLife.com have this mega-battle of boxing superpowers covered from beginning to end, as Joe Calzaghe comes in as a -270 Sports Odds Betting favorite against the always dangerous, Roy Jones Jr. [+210]. The former pound-for-pound king is being his usual self in the days leading up to his fight with Calzaghe, as he struggles to prove to the world that he is still relevant, even at the age of 39. “That’s what I’m about,” Jones said at a news conference Wednesday, breaking into a grin. “You better believe, whatever it takes, I’ve got it.” Consequently, the undefeated Welshman isn’t taking anyone for granted these days, and especially not Jones. “I’m one guy who wrote Roy off,” Calzaghe acknowledged, “but he came back and won three big fights. … He’s hungry and you can’t write him off.” After a successful career overseas, Calzaghe shed his Super Middleweight titles earlier this year, and beat Bernard Hopkins in his American debut. Despite the fact that Jones is looking better than he has in years, this is unquestionably a fight that should have happened years ago. “I’m like Wal-Mart, I’m open 24-7,” Jones said. “I’m wide open. All you have to say is the word. You know I ain’t the problem. I ain’t the reason it took so long.” The OVER [-330] and UNDER [+265] for this Joe Calzaghe vs. Roy Jones Fight Odds has been set at a total of 9½ rounds. But will it last that long? You make the call... “People say that Roy needs to seal his legacy. They welcome that conversation in America. They put Joe on the back burner,” said Enzo Calzaghe, the champ’s trainer and father. “We didn’t come here to fight to lose.” “This is two fighters that want to do something great, something different,” Jones said after a workout this week. “I’m not doing anything for my legacy. My legacy is in concrete. My legacy is done. All I can do is add to it by pulling off this upset.”

Kimbo Slice Fights in the UFC?
Kimbo Slice to the UFC? After the collapse of the EliteXC MMA brand, Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson and Gina Carano were pretty much left unemployed. As it appears, there’s now hope for one of these fighters, but if so, there will be no red carpet entrance. “Despite UFC President Dana White’s consistent publicly voiced disdain for EliteXC’s use of Kimbo Slice as a marketable MMA commodity, White did recently offer Slice an opportunity to join the world’s leading MMA promotion.” The next event for the Ultimate Fighting Championship will be on November 15th, UFC 91: Randy Couture vs. Brock Lesnar, live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Oddsmakers at BodogLife.com currently have the newcomer favorite over the legend, as Brock Lesnar is [-125] Online Sports Betting Odds favorite against the UFC champ, Randy “The Natural” Couture [-105]. At the post-UFC 90 press conference, White was asked about the possibility of bringing in the former YouTube streetfighter to the UFC. “(Slice) can be on ‘The Ultimate Fighter,’” White said. However, White’s opinion on the MMA skills of Kimbo Slice, apparently remain unaffected. The Online Sports Betting Odds of the Randy Couture vs. Brock Lesnar Fight not lasting until 2:30 of Round 3 are +125. “What’s (Slice) done other than get 10 million hits on YouTube? What’s he done to deserve to be in the UFC? Nothing. I don’t consider him a real athlete or anything. He won’t win The Ultimate Fighter. The offer’s out there if he wants to take it, (but) he won’t win it.” The Sports Odds of the Randy Couture vs. Brock Lesnar Fight going 2:30 of Round 3 are -175. In other "UFC 91: Couture vs. Lesnar" Beting Odds, Kenny Florian is [-180] Sports Odds favorite against Joe Stevenson [+150].

UFC 91: Anderson Silva vs Patrick Cote Betting Odds Preview
UFC 91 Anderson Silva (22-4-0) vs. Patrick Cote (14-4-0) Betting Odds Preview: The best pound-for-pound fighter in the world and undisputed UFC middleweight champion, Anderson “The Spider” Silva [-650], puts his belt on the line when he faces, Patrick “The Predator” Cote [+450], this Saturday night October 25th on Pay-Per-View. After going up a weight-class and absolutely destroying Light Heavyweight, James Irvin by 1st round (1min.) TKO, Anderson Silva returns to 185-lb to once again wreck havoc in the middleweight division. Fighting out of Curitiba, Brazil, “The Spider” Silva is by far the best fighter in the world, hands down. After a successful career in Pride and overseas, Silva took his talent to the highest stage, the UFC, and has absolutely obliterated all competition. Riding a 7-fight win-streak, Silva is incredibly well rounded, with the ability to stand and trade with the best. The Brazilian is not only a phenomenal striker, but also possesses devastating Muay-Thai techniques, which include piercing knees and sharp elbows. The guy is as close to unbeatable as I’ve ever seen. When asked to offer some thoughts about his upcoming fight with Cote, Silva said: “I think Patrick Cote is a very tough fighter. He has a good chin, and he has heavy hands. I believe he deserves an opportunity to fight for the title.” “The Predator”, Patrick Cote indeed possesses heavy hands, an iron chin, and is great on the ground. Born in Rimouski, Quebec, and fighting out of Quebec City, Canada, the 28-year-old phoneme also comes in with an impressive winning streak of his own. Ricardo Almeida (split decision), Drew McFedries (TKO), Kendall Grove (TKO), and Scott Smith (unanimous decision), have all fallen victims to Cote’s knockout power and superb submission skills. At just 5’ 11”, Cote will be giving up at least 3” in height, and of course in reach. Certainly, Silva’s length might be a problem for him especially in the later stages of the fight, if it gets to that point. Also, Cote has to be very careful not to come in early and get KO’d in the 1st. When asked to give some thoughts on fighting, perhaps the best ever, Cote was very gracious with his response: “It’s a true honor for me to fight this guy. He's the best and I respect him a lot. My style will be perfect to give him a war and I have a lot of confidence to win this fight.” Another great bout on the UFC 91 fight-card is the one between the fierce Brazilian pit-bull, (21-4-0) Thiago Alves [-190], taking on wrestling sensation (13-2-0) Josh Koscheck [+150].
